Gilman City lies along Route 146 and spans parts of Harrison and Daviess counties. Its estimated population is 337. The town’s streets open onto the surrounding agricultural countryside, with Bethany and Gallatin providing additional dining and recreation destinations. Exploring those nearby county seats offers more context for the smaller communities between them. The annual Gilman City Fair is a June tradition, with livestock shows and an FFA barbecue connecting the town’s community calendar with the surrounding agricultural area.
Gilman City was platted in 1897 as the railroad reached the area. Its name honors railroad banker Theodore Gilman, linking the community’s beginnings to the financing and construction of the region’s rail network.

That is totally normal, we have been in THOUSANDS of homes, and almost none of them were perfectly clean when we met. At the initial meeting, all we’re doing is looking with you — a second follow-up will be set for any listing photos to give plenty of time to tidy up.
No repairs are required to list your home, you can sell in its current condition. We can add a note to the listing saying seller not interested in making repairs.
